Day 4- Paris to Evry 41.2 kms

After a great night of sleep I woke to find that Chris had solved the “riddle “ of downloading the Europe maps on to my Garmin... big step forward as anything to do with Garmin is a problem until you get to know what you are doing!
We were up and about by 6.00am and anxious to start the ride. After a good breakfast of cornflakes and baguette we were off on the bikes at about 8.00am
The ride was a short one along a canal that fed in to the Seine river then along the Seine itself
We rode along bike paths for most of the way and the navigation seemed easy. The weather was about 18 - 20 degrees with some drizzle on occasion. It was almost perfect riding weather
We reached Evry at about 11.45 am making reasonable time for our first ride
We settled in to the F1 hotel and after a shower headed out for lunch at a local Italian restaurant.
The afternoon was spent usefully sorting out the transfer of the routes we are taking to my Garmin... sounds easy but my computer skills could be best described as “basic “
After a few hours we decided to have a walk around the park near our hotel which is quite pretty
Dinner tonight was at the same restaurant we had for lunch and we are back at the hotel by 7.45
Interesting that it seems there was a public holiday in France Ascension Day which is something we do not have in Australia
Now for the photos....

Ready to go!!!!
